My name is Ahren Lanfor and I am a freelance audio engineer, producer, mixing engineer, live sound tech, videographer and editor as well an artist. I grew up in the New York music scene from the late 1990's to mid 2000's and came to the NW Tacoma music scene right after and have been embedded ever since. I have worked with many genres such as Indie Rock, Folk, Hardcore, Punk, Metal, Doom, Stoner Rock, Post Rock, Pop, Pop Punk, Alt Rock, Ska, Emo and more. I have a DIY ethic as that's were I came from and care very much about local music. My rates are based on the bands budget and the studio rental rates. I am more known for my live drum sound and utilization of real amps etc. If you are looking for more in the box production like drum programming then that will raise my rate a bit more than I normally charge.
